Although NDT is generally used for flaw detection, the instruments used must operate flawlessly. Instruments which are inaccurate can compromise the integrity of the inspection or even worse, jeopardise public safety. It is therefore essential that instruments are well maintained and kept within valid calibration. The goal of calibration is to minimise any measurement uncertainty by ensuring accuracy, and periodic calibration of NDT instruments has been legally mandated across all industries.
We provide reliable third party performance evaluation and calibration services which meet the requirements of international codes and standards such as ASME BPVC Section V, AWS, API and ISO.
